The Story
Two Brothers. Different Paths. One Vision.
Stand Up Eight was started by two brothers in recovery.We took different roads to get here. Different paths that arrived at the same destination, and we couldn't have done it without our hometown sober communities of Portland, OR, and New Orleans, LA.Somewhere along the way, supporting each other's recovery became an idea: what if we made a way for people to wear this commitment the way they wear their city, their team, their pride? Not awareness merch. Nothing clinical. Just good design and sober events that show the world we're here, we're committed to clean living, and there are a lot more of us than you think.Our name comes from an old proverb: fall down seven times, stand up eight. We know first-hand that recovery isn't a straight line. It doesn't matter how many times you've fallen or how many day-ones you've had.
